StartupPoint set out to solve a problem: To up the odds for entrepreneurs by helping them connect with the right people. Along the way, we also realized that we set out to solve another problem: To amplify the voice and power of entrepreneurs in their communities. We’re tackling this problem through two solutions. The first is the StartupPoint Calendar, which enables communities to share entrepreneur-related events in one place. The second is StartupPoint's new startup ecosystem, which enables the entrepreneurial community to collectively point to the most helpful people, creating a global network of hyperlocal ecosystems that open pathways never before possible for startups and small businesses.
Our Startup Points
When we shared our vision, we heard things like, “We’ve been talking about doing this for 20 years!” and, “This is exactly what we need to help our community’s members build networks from the group up!” And it’s because of those people that we persevered. Our startup points were people who believed in us, and we created StartupPoint so that all entrepreneurs can find the people who believe in them too.
